Aeromaritime Group welcomes Tundra Software Technologies

Aeromaritime Group acquires Turkish mission-systems specialist Tundra and launches Aeromaritime Türkiye

Acquisition adds AI-supported data distribution to the Group’s naval communications and antenna portfolio and opens direct access to the Turkish defence market

Paris, 2nd November 2026

Aeromaritime France, the French subsidiary of Aeromaritime Group, through their recently established subsidiary, Aeromaritime Electronic and Communication Systems has acquired Tundra Software Technologies, an Ankara-based developer of command and control, combat management and tactical data distribution systems. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition takes the Group beyond communication and signal intelligence into how mission data is handled once it is on board. Together, the two companies cover the full communications chain, from the antennas that send and receive signals to the systems that distribute and prioritise data across a platform. Navies get a single supplier for capabilities that have traditionally been sourced separately. Aeromaritime Türkiye also gives the Group a direct presence in one of the region’s most active defence markets.

“Tundra brings proven know-how in data distribution, combat management and tactical data links. Our focus is on extending that expertise to new platforms and customers, not starting from scratch. Our new Turkish subsidiary gives us a direct presence in one of the most dynamic naval markets in the region,” said Jean-Luc George van Eeckhoutte, CEO, Aeromaritime Group, France.

Tundra’s AI-supported Data Distribution Unit gathers navigation, timing and sensor data and redistributes it in real time to the combat management system, weapons, sensors and platform systems. Its on-board AI facilitates subsystem integration, prioritises critical messages, manages latency and flags anomalies and cyber threats before they reach the operator. The system is designed for ships, armoured vehicles and unmanned platforms, and supports both NATO-compatible and proprietary tactical data links.

Founder and CEO Emrah Kaderli will continue to lead Tundra.

“Crews don’t need more data. They need the right information, at the right time, without the noise,” said Jan Molter, CEO, Aeromaritime Group, Germany.

“Joining Aeromaritime Group gives our technology the international reach and naval heritage to match its ambition,” said Emrah Kaderli, Founder & CEO, Tundra.

Aeromaritime Türkiye joins the Group’s existing operations in France, Germany and the UAE, as part of a wider ongoing programme of international expansion.
